Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to gain important insights and take your soil health to the next level. Keep reading to learn more about joining us on this tour!
We will be conducting soil testing using the advanced ChrysaLabs Probe to analyze common soil properties, as well as macro and micronutrients. Additionally, we will be measuring microbial activity with the MicroBIOMETER testing kit. This go-around we will preform all of the testing and get you a report that can be compared with your summer results. We'll sit together over a meal and discuss general findings for the area, and will also have opportunity to discuss results individually as well as answer any questions.
We will test the same locations in the same fields that we tested this summer. If you weren't able to participate in testing this year and would like to, we will have another opportunity to test more new fields in the Spring/Summer.
Your soil quality directly impacts your farm's productivity and sustainability. Healthy soil provides essential nutrients to crops, promotes root growth, and increases water retention. By caring for the health of your soil, you improve your crop yields, reduce the need for fertilizers, and enhance important soil properties like water infiltration. Investing in soil health not only benefits your farm in the short term but also ensures its long-term viability. So, whether you're a small-scale farmer or a large agricultural operation, it's important to prioritize the health of your soil for the success of your farm.
We can’t wait to get in the field and learn more about your soil with you! If you’re in one of these areas and would like to be included, you're welcome to come to the meeting that's in your area. Please email mmalone@holganix.com for location and time of events if you wish to attend.
If you don’t see your location on this tour, don’t worry! We plan to do a soil tour each year after planting and again before harvest, so keep an eye out for Summer '25 dates.
Attendance is on a first come first, first serve basis. We will run out of seats.
