Roots Competition Update: Photos from the field

Holganix RootsThis spring, Holganix Bio 800+ products were used by over 800 farmers in the U.S. and Canada. We are so grateful to our farmer dealers, and all the farmers using Holganix, for spreading the Holganix message across North American farmland. In addition to being used by growers, Holganix Bio 800+ has also been used by nearly 1,000 turf professionals, including lawn and landscape companies, golf courses, sport fields, and others.

Together we are preserving and nourishing the waters and soils, so they can be passed down to future generations.

In May, we launched our annual roots competition, which is open to farmers, landscapers, lawn care companies golf course superintendents, and many others. Holganix customers submit photos and receive swag in return!

Check out some of the awesome photos submitted by growers and turf professionals so far!

How do Holganix Bio 800+ products stimulate root growth?

Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria - Holganix Bio 800+ contains Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria (PGPB) that occupy the rhizosphere (root zone) of the plant and can promote plant growth and plant defense.

Endo and Ecto Mycorrhizae - Holganix Bio 800+ contains Endo and Ecto Mycorrhizae - a beneficial soil fungus that works in conjunction with plant roots. The fungi and the plant roots form a mutualistic relationship, whereby the plant produces sugars through photosynthesis and exudes them out of the roots for mycorrhizae and other beneficial soil microbes to consume. In turn, the mycorrhizae bring water and nutrients to the roots from distances the root cannot reach.
