Growing and Strengthening Your Business

At Holganix, one of our core values is to build a positive community of Holganix partners. That means a community that includes not only the Holganix team, but also our vendors and end-users. To Holganix, the community is about supporting and learning from each other. In this video, Holganix CEO Barrett Ersek discusses what he sees as the vision of Holganix and the Holganix Community.

Barrett also goes over some core policies you can incorporate to grow and strengthen your business (skip to 19:10 in the video for this section). For example, at Holganix, we escape for a day and a half of off-site time where we gather and talk about our strategy for the next six to twelve months. For Barrett, he always begins with a SWOT analysis where the team answers the following four questions:

• What are your Strengths?
• What are your Weaknesses?
• What are your Opportunities?
• What are your Threats?

By going through a SWOT analysis, we can better shape and build a plan or vision for the year at Holganix. It allows us to grow and focus on the opportunities within our industry and shortcomings that need mending at our company.
