Reflecting on 2024: Holganix's Milestones in Agriculture

Blog headers #2 (3)-1This week’s blog comes from Holganix’s Marketing Events & Campaign Specialist, Maddie Malone. A creative strategist and steadfast soil health advocate, Maddie is dedicated to crafting impactful events that bring together communities, businesses, and individuals to explore the transformative power of soil health.

As we close 2024, it’s time to reflect on an incredible year filled with growth and success. Together with our community of farmers and partners, the meaningful contributions to agriculture and soil health that we have put forth are noteworthy. Let’s take a look back at some of the most exciting highlights and achievements of this year.

Milestones Achieved:

This year, Holganix continued to push the boundaries of improving soil health. Some key milestones include:

  • Breakthroughs with Bio 800+: Continued testing reinforced the efficacy of Holganix Bio 800+ Agriculture in reducing inputs and improving yields, solidifying its role as a game-changer for farmers across North America.

  • Opportunities for Farmer Wealth: We empowered farmers to explore added farm revenue opportunities, contributing to healthier soil while navigating profitability goals.

  • New Partnerships: Holganix teamed up with innovative organizations to amplify the impact of microbial and biological solutions.

Success Stories from the Field:

Every year, we are inspired by the remarkable work of our growers. Here are a few standouts:

  • Early Seasons Wins: Spring emergence and early-stage observations showed more root mass and resilient young plants in treated crops (planted at the same time as their untreated counterparts).

  • Continued to Impress: Our team is always out digging roots and seeing what we notice. These Missouri corn plants showed a stark difference in color, with the Holganix Bio 800+ Agriculture-treated plants being a vibrant, healthy shade of dark green.

  • Reduced Pressure: A farmer in Nebraska saw an astonishing difference in pill bug damage between treated and untreated beans, where the treated plants were healthier and less attractive to the bugs.
  • End Season Successes: Farmers across the board consistently saw higher yields in Holganix Bio 800+ treated crops. Some even took it a step further to open up their pods and husks – they noticed better pod fill (beans) and tip fill (corn) amongst treated crops.

Snapshots of the year:

Fieldwork is at the heart of what we do, and this year was no exception. We’ve traveled far and wide, hosting soil health field days, conducting tests, and listening to our community.

Here are some of our favorite moments:
